In this customer story The challenge: different property types in one portfolio
SLNT Group Kft. provides property management services in Budapest and the surrounding area, including short- and long-term rentals. Its approximately 60-room accommodation portfolio includes individual apartments, separately bookable rooms in larger residential apartments and a 21-room guesthouse. Before using RoomRaiser, the team checked bookings and adjusted rates manually every day across its properties.
The challenge: different property types in one portfolio
Apartments, separately sold rooms and a guesthouse create different pricing situations. Checking each unit by hand took time, while local events and peak periods also needed attention.
The new daily workflow
RoomRaiser now applies SLNT Group Kft.’s pricing settings automatically, including rules for local events and peak periods. The team checks the platform every one or two days, focusing on upcoming dates with rooms still available and dates in the next one to three months that are booking particularly quickly. They adjust rates where needed while the recurring settings continue to run automatically.
The result so far
Co-owner and Managing Director Csaba Szalontai estimates that daily pricing work has fallen from roughly 30 minutes to 10 minutes.
The team plans to assess revenue and occupancy changes after comparing several completed periods.
“We feel that our suggestions and ideas are being heard.”
Csaba also values the working relationship behind the software. According to his account, several of the team’s ideas were implemented in the product quickly.
The practical takeaway
For a mixed portfolio, automation is useful when the team can still see fast-booking dates and intervene where needed.
