What we review

Six areas. Pick the ones you need.

We put the scope together with you, based on your goals and the data you have. If there’s one specific issue, we focus on that alone, and that’s all you pay for.

01

How you work today

0.5–1 h

Room types, guest mix, seasonality, goals and systems. Who changes prices, how often and based on what? We also check which reports we’ll need and whether they’re usable.

02

Booking and revenue data

1–1.5 h

Occupancy, ADR and RevPAR. Where are your strong and weak periods, and how do weekdays compare with weekends? Where data allows: bookings on the books, pickup and lead time.

03

Rates and offers

1–1.5 h

Base rates, seasonal and weekend differences, room-type gaps, occupancy and board supplements, discounts and packages. Are discounts stacking? Are rules clashing?

04

Where you stand in the market

0.5–1 h

We compare three to five competitors you choose with us on selected dates, like for like, taking service level and local events into account.

05

Channels and bookability

1–2 h

Your booking engine against the main OTAs, and what’s left after commission. Test searches show whether guests can actually book what you want to sell.

06

Findings and recommendations

1 h

A short written summary with real examples, in order of priority. Then we walk you through it.

Time estimates are initial estimates for a simpler property with usable data and spot checks.

What you get

A clear action list. Not a thick report.

What we found, why it’s costing you and what to do instead. Where the data allows, we also estimate how much revenue the changes could bring.

  1. 1

    Quick fixes

Things you can put right within days.

  2. 2

    The next few weeks

Pricing and offer changes that need a little preparation.

  3. 3

    Longer-term improvements

Bigger moves, such as reworking your rate structure or channel mix.

  4. +

    A walkthrough together

We go through the results with you and answer every question.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a RoomRaiser subscription?

No. We can audit any property, whatever PMS, channel manager or booking engine it uses. If you subscribe to RoomRaiser within 60 days of the handover, we take 3 hours off the audit fee.

How much does it cost?

€75 per hour excluding VAT, with a 4-hour minimum. A full audit of a simpler property usually takes 5–8 hours, or €375–600 excluding VAT. Before you order, we agree what we’ll review and how many hours it will take. If we need more time, we ask you first.

I only have one specific problem. Can you look at just that?

Of course. We only review the areas involved and bill the hours actually worked, with a minimum of 4 hours.

What data will you need?

In the first conversation we tell you which reports we need and check whether they’re usable. If the data needs heavy cleaning or a deeper analysis, we agree that separately.

How is this different from the free revenue review?

The free review is a short conversation about how RoomRaiser could help. The audit goes much further: a detailed expert analysis of your own data, with written recommendations.

Will you also change the settings for me?

The audit finds the problems and recommends how to solve them. Changing settings, rebuilding your pricing and follow-up are available separately at the hourly rate. In another provider’s system we need access, or we work alongside that system’s specialist.
