Smarter dynamic pricing with powerful new tools.

Hotel pricing today is far from static. Setting rates once for the whole season? That no longer works. Guest expectations shift daily—or even hourly—and if you’re not adapting, your competitors will.

That’s why dynamic pricing is essential: it continuously adjusts room rates based on real-time demand and availability.

Now imagine not having to do all of this manually. What if a smart system handled it for you?

That’s what modern pricing is all about—and exactly what RoomRaiser delivers. In addition to intelligently optimizing your rates, RoomRaiser offers helpful features that make daily operations more efficient and collaboration smoother.

Here are two of the latest tools: Bulk Price Setting and Price Lock - both available directly on the Calendar Page, ready to simplify your daily workflow.

Group Pricing – set the prices for multiple rooms and dates
Group Pricing – set the prices for multiple rooms and dates easily and quickly all at once.

Bulk Price Setting: Update Multiple Rates in Just a Few Clicks

Picture this: a sudden demand spike—a festival, a conference, or a long weekend—and you need to adjust room prices across multiple dates and room types quickly.

Instead of clicking through each one manually, Bulk Price Setting lets you apply changes across the board with just a few clicks.

What can you do with it?

- Set prices for multiple rooms at once.

- Minimize errors and save valuable time.

- React instantly to market changes—without getting lost in the details.

How to use it:

- In Calendar View, click on the pricing view for all room types on the date you want to update.

- Click the three-dot 'Date Options' menu next to the date header.

- Select 'Bulk Edit Prices'.

- Choose whether to increase or decrease the prices, and specify a fixed amount or a percentage.

- Click 'Apply'—the system will automatically update all capacities and room types for that day.

- Changed your mind? Click 'Revert Prices' to undo the changes and restore the original values.

Price Lock: Keep Rates Fixed When It Matters Most

Dynamic pricing is powerful, but sometimes a fixed rate is exactly what you need.

Consider situations like:

- Launching a promo campaign with a pre-announced price.

- Blocking price changes during high-demand periods when you’re confident in your set rates.

Here’s how Price Lock helps:

- Lock in the rate for a specific day or range in a single click.

- Prevent automated updates from changing your set prices.

- Enjoy the flexibility of dynamic pricing with the reliability of fixed rates.

RoomRaiser - Pirce Lock function
Price Lock – combines the flexibility of dynamic pricing with the security of fixed rates – and it's convenient, too.

How it works:

- In the Calendar View, each price line shows a lock icon—open by default.

- Whether system-generated or manually edited, you can click the lock to freeze the price. - It will stay locked until you unlock it manually, unaffected by any future updates.

- Don’t forget to click 'Save Prices' to confirm the changes.

- After updates, you can still hover over a locked price to see the system’s recommendation - but it won’t be applied unless you unlock the rate.

Final Thoughts

Dynamic pricing automation is no longer optional - it’s a strategic advantage in the hotel business.

Tools like Bulk Price Setting and Price Lock give you control, flexibility, and speed to adapt to changing markets, while saving you time and maximizing your revenue.

If you haven’t explored these features yet, head over to the Calendar View. They’ll soon become an essential part of your daily routine.
